Easy to Reach

Les Gets is one of the most accessible ski resorts in the Alps. Located in the Northern Alps, access is remarkably easy and transfers from Geneva airport take just over an hour.
Its proximity to a major airport has made it a favourite with the weekend skiers.

By Air

Air travel is the easiest way to get to Les Gets. Geneva International Airport is 34 miles/55 km (just over an hour driving time)distant from Les Gets. From the airport you can either hire a car or take a bus transfer (bus transfer can be arranged for you). You can catch one of the regular Altibus connections from the airport direct to Les Gets (tel: +41 227 982 000). Taxis are also available from the airport and cost approximately 160 euros.

By Rail

Les Gets is 22 km / 14miles from the most convenient train station at Cluses. Hop on the Eurostar + TGV/overnight train from Paris to Cluses. TGV Paris to Cluses takes around 4 hours travel time, then coach or taxi to Les Gets (approx 25 minutes). Taxis can be booked in advance to pick you up from the station and will cost approximately 60 euros.

Alternatively, catch the Eurostar direct from London Waterloo or Ashford in Kent to Bourg-St Maurice, and Aime-La-Plange on Fridays and Saturdays (overnighter), taking about 10 hours. From there you can hire a car or catch a bus transfer. Check for operation days as they change during the season.

By Road

From Calais

Les Gets is one of the closest resorts to Calais (520 miles/890 km) and other channel ports making driving an attractive option.

From Calais, follow the A26 down to Paris and then take the A6 autotroute. At Bourg-en-Bresse pick up the A40 to the Cluses exit and look for the signs to Les Gets (D902). The journey will take around nine hours and cost about €100 in road tolls.
 
From Geneva Airport

From Geneva airport follow the motorway signs for France, Geneva and Chamonix. Once on the motorway head towards the direction of Chamonix and Annecy (A40). Exit the A40 at Cluses and follow the signs for Morzine and Les Gets (D902). Pass through Taninges turning left to Les Gets.

Directions to Chalet Magali

On arrival to Les Gets, at the 1st roundabout head for Morzine and Thonon (not Centre Ville). At the 2nd roundabout go straight on towards Morzine, passing the Mont Chery telecabine on the left. A few metres on the left there is a car park. Turn left into the car park, then take the first road on the left sign posted Montee de L’Adret. Take the first turning off to the right and Chalet Magali is the second Chalet at the end of the lane.
